I had a good experience at Shawsheen Service Center recently. I've been taking my car there for the last few years for state inspections, and that's always worked out well. This year, I was getting a flashing "maintenance required" signal in my car at about the same time that I needed the inspection. I had to find a place that could handle both the maintenance issue as well as the inspection sticker. Shawsheen Service Center was able to do both. I think the person I dealt with was Tommy. He was friendly and polite, and we even got to chat a little bit about a mutual interest. When I brought my car in, it turned out I needed a rear brake job, too. Shawsheen was able to do the maintenance (oil change), the break job, and the state inspection all on the same day. All in all, it was a good experience.
