Andover Auto Repair

I have been going to Shawsheen Sunoco for over twenty years for service. I do most of my auto maintenance myself, but when I am in need of a repair I can't handle I go to Shawsheen Sunoco. I have had Electronics diagnostics and repairs, chassis, exhaust and wheel alignments, tire mounting and balancing done here with fair pricing and professional service every single time. There is also a warranty with the repairs. They have done repairs on all of my family's cars also without a complaint. They are always careful with my cars.

I am recommending this business based first on an observation and then on subsequent service on my car. I had been there a couple of times just for inspection (always went fine in terms of turn around, etc). One time I was sitting in the office waiting for my car to be inspected and an older woman came in and said her AC was not working. The owner went out to the car and came back to say "well, it is blowing cold air for me, so let me show you how to set it." A less honest person could have made a fair bit of money. Right then I decided to give him my business when any repairs came up. Have not been disappointed since over several minor and more major repairs to my car.

Great honest place, I have no clue what the other reviews were about, i dont think they went to this place because what they are talking about is nothing like what Steve (owner) or any of the other mechanics would do. I worked there for my first job and loved it, I still bring my car to them to this day

I'm not sure what happened with the reviews who gave this place 1 star, but my family and I have been coming here for all of our car needs for years. The shop manager is Steve and is incredibly accommodating and never tries to oversell. He is flexible and my family and I have not had a bad experience there after what must be over 50 visits for all of our cars over the past 10 years or so.

Great service at a great price. They broke a piece of my headlight, fixed it for free, and then told me when i picked it up what had happened. they could have fixed it and not told me but these guys are honest and do great work.

Recently moved to Andover and have been searching for a new garage to have our cars serviced at. A friend recommended the Shawsheen Sunoco so we tried it out. Their service and attention to detail were amazing, having had work done elsewhere I feel they did great work (front brakes) and charged a very reasonable price. Extremely trustworthy, so much so that my wife's minivan went in the same week to check on unusual noises from the left front. Again, they were very attentive and only charged a minimal fee for labor. I highly recommend them. The only thing that keeps me from giving them the full 5 stars is that they don't do repair/garage work on Saturday which isn't terrible.

This is probably the best gas station I've been to. I work in the area and get filled up regularly and also get my oil changes done here. It's a full service gas station, but unlike most full service stations they are always very attentive and meet you at your window. There is no waiting for someone to get to you, they're ready. I usually make an appointment for an oil change a day in advance but its not always necessary, they offer to do it on the spot if they have time. I'm in and out within half an hour. Everyone is extremely friendly, every time. Very pleased.
